About
Hi. My name is Jon, I am 25 29 years old and live in Austin, Tex New York. I graduated from Claremont McKenna with a Harvey Mudd computer science degree and completed most of a masters at the University of Texas photojournalism program. I work for the New York Times as a multimedia journalist. My (outdated) portfolio is on the left, my resume is (not) linked below. This website is officially mothballed and archived.
My email address is JON at JONHUANG dot COM.
Jonhuang.com: This site is powered by my Flickr page and WordPress. Visual theme is provided by an edited Hemingway theme; Flickr integration by Duane Storey’s Crossroads and a modified Flickr Album; the gorgeous photo pop-ups are run by Torstein Hønsi’s Highslide JS. All my ugly code hacks are done in the free code editor ConText. Thanks to all the programmers of these shared tools, thanks to my colleague and professors, friends and family, and most of all, thanks to the people in my photos. Thanks for visiting!
