I'm greatly relieved to hear about the other developments spread around Austin; looks like I should have read more first! I thought I would offer some information for you. Over the past five years there have been 4 developments built in Austin dedicated to the homeless; one downtown, two in south Austin and one in north Austin. This development will be the fifth. With four thousand homeless people in Austin it will take a number of developments like this one to begin to mitigate the social disaster of homelessness in our community. It is right to not "dump" this on any one area of town and that all areas be willing and compassionate to play a role. I have personally met Greg Blackman. He is an extraordinary man and a dedicated father. I shared with him that I too am a father of five children ranging in age from 14 to 26. Three are girls. I pledged to him that his neighborhood will be safe...period. This will be demonstrated. I would welcome to show anyone our model home and the 26 RV's we currently own and how successful this projkect will be. thank you for the opportunity. The pictures are great and do tell a story.
